Engine

Intake

Street - Install a high-flow replacement air filter element.

Sport - Replace stock intake system with high-flow cone air filter(s).

Race - Install a pressurized carbon-fiber cold air intake system, and a resonance-tuned carbon-Kevlar intake manifold and plenum.

Intake Manifold

Street -

Sport - Install a ported intake manifold, with intake runners port-matched to the cylinder head to ensure unimpeded airflow into the engine.

Race - Install individual tuned-length intake runners for each cylinder. Install a carbon-fiber intake plenum between the intake and air filter.

Fuel System

Street - Install custom ECU chip to improve power through optimized fueling and timing.

Sport - Install a piggyback ECU fuel and timing management system, a high-flow fuel pump, rails and filters, and injectors.

Race - Install a custom racing electronic fuel inject system, and optimize tuning for high-octane race fuel by installing twin racing fuel pumps, a foam-filled racing fuel cell, a programmable, wideband standalone fuel management system, and braided fuel hoses.

Carburetor

Street - Install jet kit, add phenolic carburetor spacer to decrease heat transfer from engine to carburetor, and alter the torque curve for better mid-high rpm power.

Sport - Install a larger carburetor to allow a higher air mass flow rate with high-volume fuel pump(s). Add thin throttle shafts and low-drag butterflies to increase airflow through the carburetor.

Race - Install a multi-carburetor setup with multi-choke racing carburetors, and racing floats to ensure proper needle and seat operation under high-G loads. Install high-flow, stainless-braided fuel lines. Install intake velocity stacks to optimize air speed and increase power.

Ignition

Street - Install silicon-insulated ignition wires with high-performance spark plugs.

Sport - Install a capacitive-discharge coil pack, heat-range-optimized spark plugs, and grounded ignition wires. Optimize timing advance curve.

Race - Install a crank-fired racing ignition and individual race coils per cylinder. Add a knock sensor for adaptive timing control.

Exhaust

Street - Install a high-performance, mandrel-bent cat-back exhaust system with stainless steel sport muffler(s) for more efficient breathing.

Sport - Install stainless steel header(s) and downpipe(s), 100 cell catalytic converter(s), and a larger-diameter, flow-optimized cat-back exhaust.

Race - Install port-matched, lightweight, titanium anti-reversion header(s) and a straight-through, big-bore, titanium racing exhaust system.

Camshaft

Street - Install mild aftermarket cam(s), which feature higher lift and greater duration.

Sport - Install aggressive high lift, high duration cam(s), and degreed pulley(s) for optimized cam timing. Install performance valve springs.

Race - Install hollow racing camshaft(s), which feature micropolished cam lobes and solid lifters. Install lightweight race valve springs and titanium retainers.

Valves

Street - Install swirl-polished, large-diameter stainless steel valves, with a multi-angle valve grind designed to provide additional airflow to the engine.

Sport - Install back-cut intake and exhaust valves, designed to maximize airflow. Shape intake and exhaust ports to equalize power produced by each cylinder.

Race - Install larger, lightweight, high-strength valves with a multi-angle valve grind and larger valve seats for optimizing airflow into the engine. Increase intake and exhaust port size and shape. Modify the combustion chamber for more

Single/Twin Turbo

Street - Install ball-bearing turbocharger(s) with integral wastegates, cast-iron turbo manifolds, blow-off valves, and manual boost controllers.

Sport - Install steel ball-bearing turbocharger(s) designed for low lag and high boost, with external wastegate, piston-type blow-off valve, water injection, and standalone electronic boost controller.

Race - Install ceramic ball-bearing racing turbocharger(s) designed for maximum boost, with high-flow external racing wastegate, high-flow piston-type blow-off valve, alcohol injection, and an integrated electronic boost controller.

Centrifugal Supercharger

Street - Install a street centrifugal supercharger, which builds boost in proportion to rpm and noticeably improves top-end power.

Sport - Install a larger, sport centrifugal supercharger, with a smaller pulley and aggressive gearing that builds boost in proportion to rpm and noticeably improves top-end power.

Race - Install a custom-tuned racing centrifugal supercharger. Blueprint the supercharger housing for increased efficiency and durability. Install largest impeller and optimize blade design to allow maximum airflow rate and greatest efficiency. Add cogged supercharger belt system to allow the highest boost without slippage.

Positive Displacement Supercharger

Street - Install a twin-screw supercharger to build boost across a wide range of rpm and proved a noticeable improvement in low-end and mid-range torque.

Sport - Install a twin-screw supercharger with cogged belt and pulley to allow higher boost levels without slippage.

Race - Install a twin-screw racing supercharger, blueprinted for increased efficiency and durability, with coat rotors and port housing for intake temperature control and increased flow.

Intercooler

Street - Install a medium-sized tube-and-fin core sport intercooler(s).

Sport - Install larger-more efficient bar-and-plate core intercooler(s) that are volume-matched to flow, to minimize turbo lag.

Race - Install the largest practical high-flow bar-and-plate core racing intercooler(s) with smoother-end tank(s) to reduce air turbulence.

Displacement

Street - Blueprint block and balance rotating assembly. Overbore and CC combustion chamber.

Sport - Overbore engine block and install balanced stroker crankshaft. Install heavy-duty cromoly rods.

Race - Further bore and stroke the engine block, reinforce the deck, and resleeve cylinders. Install forged knife-edge stroker crankshaft.

Pistons and Compression

Street - Install high-performance cast pistons.

Sport - Install forged high-strength pistons for increased durability and improved durability and improved compression.

Race - Install custom-machined race pistons with performance coatings and gapless low-tension rings to optimize compression.

Oil and Cooling

Street - Install a multi-core radiator with aluminum end tanks, and an aftermarket high-flow radiator fan.

Sport - Install a remote-mount oil filter and oil cooler with larger-capacity filter, and a baffled oil pickup to prevent oil starvation.

Race - Install a dry-sump oiling system with remote oil cooler(s) to ensure consistent oil flow under high G loads.

Flywheel

Street - Install a lightweight aluminum flywheel to improve acceleration and throttle response by reducing mass and rotational inertia compared to the stock flywheel

Sport - Install a forged steel flywheel, machined for reduced weight and inertia to improve acceleration and throttle response.

Race - Install an ultra-light, small-diameter flywheel and solid hub to further improve acceleration and throttle response.

Platform and Handling

Brakes

Street - Install high-performance brake pads and brake fluid with a high boiling point.

Sport - Install large, ventilated two-piece rotors with aluminum mounting hubs, aluminum two and four-piston calipers, braided stainless steel brake lines, and track-spec brake pads sized to match the larger calipers.

Race - Install even larger full-floating carbon-ceramic brake rotors, front and rear matched aluminum monobloc four and six-piston calipers, and race-spec composite brake pads. Remove vacuum assist servo for better feel, and add brake bias valve.

Spring and Dampers

Street - Install firmer lowering springs and firmer shocks. Replace rubber bushings with polyurethane bushings.

Sport - Install coilover springs and custom-valved shocks. Replace existing bushings with Teflon bushings.

Race - Install low-friction racing shocks with external reservoir for maximum valving control, and matched linear race springs. Replace control arm bushings with adjustable helm joints and steel bearings.

Anti Roll Bars

Street - Install a stiffer front anti-roll bar.

Sport - Install hollow sport front and rear anti-roll bars with solid links and polyurethane bushings.

Race - Install hollow blade-type anti-roll bars with solid end-links and aluminum block mounts.

Chassis Reinforcement

Street - Install or upgrade front strut tower bar.

Sport - Install or upgrade front and rear strut tower bars and lower subframe bar.

Race - Seam weld the chassis and install roll cage to link all critical areas, providing maximum safety and stiffness.

Weight Reduction

Street - Remove spare tire and tool kit, and install a lightweight battery.

Sport - Remove entertainment system, airbag(s), power locks, power windows, and air conditioning system.

Race - Remove bumper beams and all interior trim and carpeting. Strip and acid-dip the chassis.

Drivetrain

Clutch

Street - Install a sport clutch plate to increase the torque capacity of your clutch.

Sport - Install a twin-plate racing clutch with carbon friction material to further increase the torque capacity of your clutch.

Race - Install a low-inertia triple-plate racing clutch to further increase the torque capacity of your clutch.

Transmission

Street - Install an upgraded transmission, allowing for a higher top speed.

Sport - Install a sports transmission, allowing for higher top speed and quicker shifts.

Race - Install a racing transmission, allowing for a higher top speed, quicker shifts, and fully adjustable gear ratios.

Driveline

Street - Install a billet steel driveshaft to decrease driveline inertia and overall car weight.

Sport - Install a lightweight aluminum driveline to further decrease driveline inertia and overall car weight.

Race - Install a carbon-fiber driveshaft to further decrease driveline inertia and overall car weight.

Differential

Street - Install a high-performance clutch-type mechanical one-way LSD that provides positive lock motion only under acceleration.

Sport - Install a high-performance clutch-type mechanical 1.5-way LSD that provides stronger positive lock motion under acceleration than deceleration.

Race - Install an electronically-controlled electrohydraulic two-way limited slip racing differential that provides positive lock motion under both acceleration and deceleration.

Tires and Rims

Tire Compound

Street - Install ultra-high performance Y-rated street tires for better traction and reduced wear.

Sport - Install street-legal soft compound DOT-spec tires for further improved traction.

Race - Install racing slicks for optimum traction.
