custom car tags for garage

With all those hundreds of cars it gets really hard to track which cars are built up for what. Let us generate tags to apply to any car. This includes being able to add multiple tags to one vehicle.

Better creative output and potential advertising of the game

Open

extended snapping features to Event Lab

Halo has had this feature for a while and it was welcomed into the community. Forza not featuring this for all the items/objects is a huge miss.

popular community game modes

Cops vs Racers, organized cruises and straight up Role-Play are examples of game modes that have been widely adopted as fun ways to play the game. Yet, the poor online- and server-performance don’t allow players to properly play together and rules have to be adhered by players, who might as well cheat, because the game won’t check with them.
Extend lifetime of the game and enable players to further choose their own adventure.
Open

an extended livery editor

Different types of textures, being able to customize windows and wheels. Have it render at a high resolution. All of this seems to be possible for pre-branded cars, but not for players.
Open

“resharing” liveries, even if there’s a sticker made by another player on the car.

Open

back a useful club system

Use would start with getting rewards for certain achievements. Maybe being able to see others’ cars and planning car meets.
Open

an option to display all viable cars in the players garage, when looking at the viable cars for an event.

reducing loading times will help game flow.

Notes

taking away player control. Just stop.

New events in Forza Horizon games consistently take away player control, which isn’t just annoying, but stops game flow completely, which counters the very definition of games.
Avoid player frustration and keep them playing for longer.
Open

keeping the maximum number of cars and liveries so low.

There’s hundreds of cars and players are only allowed to have 999 cars and even less liveries. Why?
Open

moving wheels presentation

Having the wheels change to a visibly bad texture above a certain speed, instead of having them spin properly - or being less intrusive - is really distracting and takes away from the experience.

Notes

multiplayer reliability and server disconnects

As one of the core features to the game, the multiplayer features really drag everything into the ground. Managing and convoys and joining races in a group is very laborious, if successful at all.
Open

low visual quality of car interiors

There are plenty of cars that feature incorrect graphics in dashboards and there’s lot’s of low-poly edges.
Open

low visual consistency of car-upgrades

Removing weight in cars doesn’t change the look of the interior, even, if seats are part of the icon displayed in the upgrade-menu. Exhaust pipes also don’t change with upgrades. Ego- and third-person perspectives are also rendered differently, further splitting the game’s visual consistency.
Open

the general bad performance that especially extends to the FH5 HW DLC

Open

the bad sticker alignment in the livery editor

Open

the banning of legitimate players

Open

the game time running slower or faster based on game speed.

Open

inconsistent car restrictions

If a challenge requires a certain car, but doesn’t accept the Forza/Horizon Edition car, it should either be explicitly stated or changed to accept the respective different, but same, but different, car.
Avoid confusion and frustration. Increase game flow.
Open

the rewind issues

Being stuck in rewind will delay race participation and make players unnecessarily lose races.
Open

the visual glitches between temporary graphics solutions and volumetric and transparent objects.

Clouds, tire smoke and other objects exhibit weird visual glitches, when used in conjunction with TAA, DLAA, DLSS, FSR, MFAA and the like.
